Position: Client Implementation Operations Manager

The Client Implementation Operations Manager (CIOM) serves as an internal operational consultant to Pod Market Managers during new market launches and client expansions. This role is responsible for ensuring Pods are operationally prepared from a reporting, staffing, and systems readiness perspective, to successfully launch and scale new markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for Pod readiness for go‑live across staffing, reporting, and systems, timely identification and mitigation of operational risks prior to launch, effective partnership with Pod Market Manager(s) during launch and early stabilization, and ensuring accuracy and usability of market‑level reporting, performance insights, and smooth operational handoff post‑implementation

While Pod Market Managers retain full accountability for market performance and outcomes, the CIOM partners closely with them to assess readiness, identify gaps, and drive resolution prior to and post go‑live.

 

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Pod Market Manager(s) to assess operational readiness for new market launches and client expansions.
  • Consult on staffing models, reporting needs, and systems setup required to support projected membership growth.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Recruiting to track staffing readiness and communicate risks or gaps impacting go‑live.
  • Support staffing and scheduling planning across all clinical resources for initial enrollment volume.
  • Track licensing and credentialing status with payers and escalate readiness risks to leadership as needed.
  • Lead Pod‑level operational training related to client‑specific workflows, reporting expectations, and systems setup.
  • Serve as an operational advisor during go‑live, supporting Pod Market Manager(s) with issue identification and resolution.
  • Facilitate daily readiness and go‑live huddles with Pod leadership and Care Center partners.
  • Ensure reporting and performance tracking mechanisms are in place at the Pod level.
  • Partner with Market Managers and analytics teams to develop reports, KPI tracking, and trend analysis for newly launched markets.
  • Support root‑cause analysis of early performance trends and recommend operational improvements.
  • Advise strategies to support new patient engagement and reduce early disengagement risks.
  • Collaborate with Care Center and Community Outreach leaders to align operational execution with growth plans.

 

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA in healthcare business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years project management, operations experience required.
  • Self-starter and independent, critical thinker with ability to perform detailed data analysis.
  • Demonstrated advanced professional communication skills through clearly written, concise and comprehensive documentation, technical writing skills.
  • Ability to execute and publish written requirements articulating the big picture business intent as well as operational workflow details.
  • Previous healthcare, managed care, delegated financial risk or value-based healthcare environment experience preferred.
