As a Senior Client Success Manager at CFC, you'll build long-term client relationships that drive satisfaction, product adoption, and commercial success through renewals and expansions. This role manages a book of business and contributes to team strategy, messaging, and process development. Senior CSMs lead renewal and expansion conversations and negotiations, forecast performance, and drive strategic account planning. They also mentor junior team members, influence cross-functional initiatives, and serve as key contributors of client success and organizational growth. 

What you’ll do when you join us:  

  • Manage a book of accounts, identifying risks and opportunities to improve implementation, drive value, and secure renewals and expansions. 
  • Lead renewal and expansion conversations, including quoting, forecasting, and negotiation. 
  • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans that consistently exceed renewal and expansion KPIs. 
  • Deliver workshops and strategic presentations to clients and stakeholders. 
  • Leverage data to inform client strategy, storytelling, and decision-making. 
  • Mentor and coach junior CSMs, supporting skill development and consistency in client engagement and process execution.  
  • Contribute to team strategy, messaging, and process development to improve operational effectiveness and client outcomes.  
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve client challenges and inform organizational strategy. 
  • Provide leadership in  synthesizing and communicating client feedback to influence product and service enhancements.. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely data in CRM systems to ensure visibility into client health, pipeline, and forecasting.  
  • Stay current on K-12 trends, SEL priorities, and funding and policy shifts that impact client needs. 

Here’s what we’re looking for:  

  • 5+ years of experience in client success, account management, or related role. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree  
  • Extensive understanding of relationship building, client enablement, and K–12 education. 
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Suite, and forecasting systems. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills. 
  • Proven experience leading renewal and expansion negotiations. 
  • Experience in a SaaS environment (preferred). 
  • Familiarity with pricing models, contract terms, and value-based selling. 
  • Training or certification in sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, or MEDDICC (preferred). 
  • Travel Requirements:  Position requires up to 25% travel to client sites as well as occasional travel to the Seattle office, typically between 1-4 times per year.  
  • Note: This position is remote; employees are eligible to work remotely in any of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA.  
  •  The annual base pay hiring range for this position is $85,000–$105,000, with a target commission of 25% of base pay for meeting established sales goals, with an increasing incentive for exceeding goals up to 100% of base pay. Actual base pay takes into account job-related knowledge, skills and experience required for the role, and internal equity.
