ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Clinical Solution Strategist serves as a solution evangelist, positioning Waystar’s platform for both business and clinical audiences. Partnering closely with go-to-market and sales teams, this role translates solution capabilities, value, and messaging into meaningful outcomes for clinical and revenue cycle stakeholders.
The role also requires a strong understanding of commercial sales processes and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, product, and marketing teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Act as a strategic partner to Sales and Go to Market teams throughout the sales cycle

· Lead executive and clinical conversations focused on operational challenges and solution alignment

· Own demo delivery and value articulation for assigned opportunities

· Apply subject matter expertise to support competitive RFP responses

· Partner with Product and Marketing to inform messaging, content, and market feedback loops

· Contribute to thought leadership through industry events and speaking opportunities

· Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment, consistency, and execution excellence

· Utilize RFP and Demo software platforms to build and support content.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

· An advanced clinical degree with active clinical licensure is required, including MD, NP, PA, or MSN

· 10 or more years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within large U.S. health systems

· Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and present data to demonstrate potential quality, operational, and financial impact

· Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills, with proven experience leading executive-level and C-suite conversations to clear outcomes

· Demonstrated success in delivering persuasive software demonstrations and articulating the value of complex solutions

· Proven ability to respond effectively to RFPs and contribute to high-quality content development

· Willingness to participate in thought leadership speaking engagements and industry events

· Ability to travel up to 50 percent to support client meetings, prospect engagement, and industry events
