This is a remote position.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, build, and support reusable cloud platform services and deployment patterns

  • Configure and manage GCP infrastructure including projects, networking, IAM, security, compute, storage, and platform services

  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools

  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for repeatable, automated deployments

  • Standardize environments across development, staging, production, and future workloads

  • Support application onboarding and integration with shared platform services

  • Automate manual deployment, upgrade, and environment promotion processes

  • Manage GitLab/GitHub workflows, runners, build processes, secrets handling, and deployment gates

  • Implement containerized application deployment patterns using Kubernetes/GKE, Helm, and related tooling

  • Establish security scanning, secrets management, artifact management, and release controls

  • Design and maintain disaster recovery, rollback planning, and incident response procedures

  • Improve documentation, reference architectures, release processes, and operational handoffs

  • Collaborate with application, security, infrastructure, cloud operations, and product teams

  • Support release processes in enterprise and regulated environments

  • Monitor platform performance, reliability, and cost optimization



Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architecture

  • Expert proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools

  • Deep experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes/GKE, container orchestration, and Helm

  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, container registries)

  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, DNS, and VPC configuration

  • Knowledge of IAM, security controls, encryption, and compliance requirements

  • Familiarity with secrets management, artifact management, and security scanning

  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools

  • Understanding of relational databases (Cloud SQL) and cloud storage solutions

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams

  • Proven ability to document solutions and create reference architectures
