Why Cast AI?

Cast AI is an automation platform that operates cloud-native and AI infrastructure at scale. By embedding autonomous decision-making directly into Kubernetes and cloud environments, Cast AI continuously optimizes performance, reliability, and efficiency in production.

The old way doesn't work. As Kubernetes and AI environments grow, manual decisions don't. Cast AI replaces tickets, alerts, and manual tuning with continuous automation that adapts infrastructure as conditions change. Efficiency and cost savings follow naturally from that automation.

Over 2,100 companies already rely on Cast AI, including Akamai, BMW, Cisco, FICO, HuggingFace, NielsenIQ, Swisscom, and TGS.

Global team, diverse perspectives

We're headquartered in Miami, but our impact is international. We take a global and intentional approach to diversity. Today, Cast AI operates across 34 countries spanning Europe, North America, Latin America, and APAC, bringing a wide range of perspectives into how we build and lead.

Unicorn momentum

In January 2026, we achieved unicorn status with a strategic investment from Pacific Alliance Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Shinsegae Group (a $50+ billion Korean conglomerate). Our valuation now exceeds $1 billion, and we're just getting started.

Join us as we build the future of autonomous infrastructure.

About the role

Cast AI is moving from a single-product Kubernetes company to a multi-product platform, with different customer profiles, billing models, and economics across the suite, and we are building a legal team reflective of that reality. This isn't a ground-floor build, but it is a role at a genuine inflection point: you will be instrumental in shaping Cast AI’s contracting process, as well as the business itself.

You'll own Cast AI's commercial contracting relationship end to end, negotiating new-logo agreements alongside sales, renewals alongside customer success, reseller agreements with the partnership and alliances team, and vendor agreements with relevant stakeholders across the entire organization. You will have real supervisory scope from day one over Cast AI's legal presence in APAC, and the latitude to build the contracting infrastructure a multi-product company actually needs.

What'll You Own?
  • Negotiating Cast AI's sales agreements end to end, for new logos with sales and for renewals with customer success.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating NDAs, vendor agreements, and reseller/partnership agreements, plus independent contractor agreements where they overlap with vendor and employment concerns.
  • Leading the effort to revamp and standardize Cast AI's contracting processes to match its shift from a single product to a multi-product business.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer agreements including SLAs, EULAs, and subscription contracts.
  • Advising on compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR and CCPA, and on intellectual property matters including software licensing, copyright, and trademark issues.
  • Assisting with corporate governance and compliance matters, and developing legal policies and procedures to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinating with external counsel on disputes and litigation related to commercial agreements and other commercial matters.
  • Working across nearly every function at some point in the deal cycle, especially deal desk, sales, and customer success, and also billing, support, and compliance.
  • Day-one supervisory responsibility for Cast AI's part-time APAC legal resource, plus some supervisory interaction with the team's contracts manager.
What'll You Need?
  • A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, and active bar membership in good standing in a relevant state.
  • Proven experience in tech transactions, in both a law firm and in-house setting.
  • A track record negotiating SaaS or commercial agreements, NDAs, customer agreements, SLAs, EULAs, subscription contracts, vendor agreements, and reseller agreements.
  • Comfort mitigating risk under real deal-closing time pressure rather than holding out for a perfect contract, with the negotiation instincts to get deals done as a growing company still building its market position.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, data privacy law (GDPR, CCPA, and similar), and intellectual property law, including software licensing, copyright, and trademark issues.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Location: Based in the United States, Eastern or Central time zone preferred.
What Makes You Stand Out?
  • Experience at a well-established law firm plus prior in-house experience at a technology company, especially a fast-paced technology startup.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms.
  • CIPP/E or similar certification.
  • Experience with hyperscaler marketplace (AWS, GCP, Azure), including co-sell/partner programs and consumption or committed-spend pricing models.
  • Business acumen and the ability to balance risk mitigation with the need to close deals on tight timelines.
What’s in it for you?
  • Join a fast-growing company at the forefront of cloud-native automation and Kubernetes technology.
  • Enjoy a flexible, remote-first global environment.
  • 401(k) retirement plan 100% company match on employee contributions up to 6% of pay (available after 3 months of employment).
  • Access UnitedHealthcare plans including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Equity options.
  • Learning budget for your professional and personal growth.
  • Team-building budget and company events to connect with your colleagues.
  • Equipment budget to ensure you have everything you need.
  • Competitive salary ($140,000–$170,000 + equity)

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
