About the role
We’re hiring a Commercial Counsel to own day-to-day commercial contracting at Radar. You’ll sit at the center of how we close deals, partnering directly with Sales and GTM to drive revenue while managing risk.
Legal at Radar isn’t back-office; it’s core to how we grow. You’ll play a critical role in how we generate revenue and help build our legal infrastructure as we scale toward $100M ARR.
You’ll report to our General Counsel and be based out of our Flatiron (NYC) HQ. We’re in-office Monday–Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
What you’ll do:
Own commercial contracting along with our General Counsel, including SaaS MSAs, order forms, NDAs, and vendor agreements
Partner with Sales and Customer Success to drive deals forward and shape negotiation strategy
Build and evolve templates, playbooks, and fallback positions to increase speed and consistency
Design and scale contracting workflows across intake, redlining, approvals, and legal ops
Get deep on Radar’s products and risk profile to support better, faster decisions
Act as a trusted advisor across the business, giving clear, practical guidance on commercial risk
Support corporate governance efforts, including maintaining corporate records, assisting
with board materials, drafting resolutions, and helping manage equity matters
Who you are:
3–5+ years of experience at a top-tier law firm and/or high-growth company
Strong experience negotiating SaaS MSAs and commercial agreements with enterprise customers
Deep understanding of commercial risk (indemnity, liability, SLAs, data terms)
Proven ability to run deals independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong business judgment; understands tradeoffs, not just rules
Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to operate in a startup environment
