The Compliance Coordinator will be sitting out of the Auburn WA office. They will be responsible for the overall compliance needs for projects. The Compliance Coordinator will be involved in all aspects of safety compliance documentation for Edward Don and their sub-tiers and vendors. They will assist with vendor setup, project lien releases, public works compliance, OCIP/CCIP Enrollments, insurance certificates. Additionally, they will be working directly with the Contract Department, Project Mangers, General Contractors and sub-contractors, and Purchasing Department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years’ experience in commercial construction.
  • Excellent communication skills, to include adapts to audience, demonstrates strong listening skills and expresses thought in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail. Is able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Possesses the ability to problem solve and is able to handle complex projects and work with cross functional teams as well as work independently.
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
  • Basic knowledge of construction safety requirements, public works requirements and insurance requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assembling Safety Documentation for DON & Sub-tiers that include but is not limited to: IIPP, HIPP, JHA’s, Safety Manual, project specific safety requirements
  • Vendor Setup using Smartsheet's forms for vendor intake requests. Compiling documents required for vendor setup per company policy
  • Obtain Sub-Tier lien releases
  • Labor compliance for DON and all subs on public works projects
  • Order insurance certs for DON, enroll DON and their sub-tiers into OCIP/CCIP projects
  • Manage sub-tier insurance as required for projects
  • Other duties as assigned
