DUTIES : Develop 12V/48V component and electrical systems models using tools like Saber, Spice, Matlab and Simulink. Perform electrical circuit analysis to deliver design solutions which are robust and reliable utilizing optimization and statistical methods when appropriate. Work collaboratively with Electrical Architects, AVDC teams, Program teams and Component. Hardware Design teams to ensure system requirements are met, design concepts are evaluated, and development and validation plans are successful. Lead new analysis capability development projects for hardware reduction. Document new standard procedures. Develop requirements for supplier models, document Appendix G4 and upload them in eSOR. Ensure on time delivery of high-quality results. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study. Five (5) years of experience as a CAE Engineer, Test Engineer, or related occupation. Five (5) years of experience with: Analysis, design and testing of electrical components; Electrical systems, controls and component development and validation; and Application of engineering theory and principles of operation for electrical mechanisms. Two (2) years of experience with Sub-systems with electrified and conventional vehicles; and Synopsys Saber Product including Spice, Simplorer, Matlab and Simulink.
