ABOUT KALLES GROUP:

Everyone deserves to be secure. Our mission at Kalles Group is to help secure the future for companies of all shapes and sizes.

While our expertise spans multiple disciplines, our method remains consistent: building trust and relationship with people -- whether you are a client, a consultant, or--in this case--a candidate.

No matter what role you come from--whether you're an executive or just starting your career-you can expect our highest level of attention and respect. We want to find the right fit for each role, but we also want you to find the right fit for your career.

We believe the best way to show you what our team is like is to treat you like you're already a part of it. We hope you'll consider joining our team of experienced professionals who are building their careers at Kalles Group—and having fun while doing it.

We are looking for an experienced Endpoint Security Analyst Consultant to help our client design and implement a standardized approach to Patch Management across their organization. This role plays a key part in advancing and scaling patching operations, ensuring they align with endpoint security strategies, and driving measurable improvements in compliance, security performance, and operational workflows.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in developing and deploying a consistent Patch Management strategy across multiple teams.
  • Partner with Engineering, Security, Vulnerability Management, and other stakeholders to streamline patching processes, improve remediation efforts, and align with established standards (e.g., Secure Score, industry security benchmarks).
  • Review current patching and remediation methods to uncover opportunities for automation, scalability, and process optimization.
  • Create and refine workflows for evaluating vulnerabilities and assessing impacts to enhance engineering productivity and decision-making.
  • Integrate patching activities with broader security operations, including routine remediations, vulnerability assessments, and audit preparations.
  • Collaborate with the Device Management team to produce user-friendly content that enhances knowledge sharing and supports Helpdesk and self-service functions.
  • Contribute to building a centralized reporting dashboard that offers insights into patch compliance and overall security health.
  • Support change management efforts, drive stakeholder collaboration, and ensure clear communication to promote successful adoption of new processes.
  • Monitor and report on key indicators such as Secure Score progression, usage of new processes, and levels of user engagement.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Your values:
    • Integrity: You believe in doing the right thing, even when it's uncomfortable, seemingly inefficient, or costly.
    • Purposefulness: You have a desire to serve others with your skillset and an openness to continuous learning and growth.
    • Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.

Your experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role within IT operations, ideally with exposure to patch management, endpoint protection, or enterprise-level systems.

  • Solid understanding of security standards and frameworks, along with experience using patch management solutions and working knowledge of IT infrastructure.

  • Proven ability to partner with engineering teams to define, document, and enhance technical workflows and processes.

  • Track record of implementing process improvements, automating workflows, and developing meaningful performance metrics while aligning with key stakeholders.

  • Skilled in using data visualization and reporting tools to analyze and present security-related insights.

  • Hands-on experience with IT service management platforms (such as ServiceNow or Zendesk), Agile project management tools (like Jira), and maintaining user-facing documentation (e.g., SharePoint).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and capable of driving collaboration across teams.

We'd love it if you have:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, Secure Score, industry best practices, and tools used in vulnerability and patch management.

  • Experience aligning business and technical workflows with endpoint security and system patching strategies.

  • Technical aptitude and analytical capabilities in using tools such as Microsoft Defender and Tanium.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Salary range for this role is $120,000-$140,000 per year, dependent on experience.
  • Medical, dental, vision coverage.
  • 401(k)
  • 3 weeks of Paid Time Off, PLUS 8 paid company holidays and 2 flexible holidays for anything you want to celebrate!
  • Work/life balance – we know there’s more to life than work! We encourage our team to pursue other passions, get outside, and spend time with family. We work with clients and consultants to set expectations for a manageable workload.
  • Opportunities to connect in person and remotely with a passionate, supportive team that loves a good pun or GIF.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
