The primary function of the Healthy Sales Consultant is to lead the healthy sales program adapting global ambitions to the US business while driving results through strategy development and operationalization. Working cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, Guiding Stars and others, the Healthy Sales manager will create a framework for measuring health-related shopping behaviors and driving data-informed decisions across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Healthy Sales program owner for the US business, facilitating strategy development and overseeing program execution.
  • Lead the development and evolution of metrics that define and track health-conscious grocery purchasing behavior.
  • Partner with Group H&S and BPP on target setting, forecasting and budget providing a practical US perspective.
  • Collaborate with the Health & Sustainability data analytics team to deliver high-impact insights and reporting.
  • Oversee the creation of dashboards and reports that communicate key findings.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Partner with Guiding Stars, nutritionists and product teams to define criteria for "healthy" products and align metrics with evolving health standards.
  • Organize and lead a recurring Healthy Sales Forum with key H&S leaders and brand representatives to promote collaboration and share Healthy Sales Community best practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising to evaluate the effectiveness of health-related campaigns and product placements.
  • Engage with current and prospective CPG partners to enhance Healthy Sales offerings.
  • Stay informed on health and wellness trends, regulatory changes, and consumer preferences to guide metric development.
  • Represent ADUSA at relevant conferences, expos and other industry forums.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Public Health, Nutrition or related field
  • 5+ years experience in merchandising or procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Collaborative across all levels and functions.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Self-motivated with ability to motivate others
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable with occasional travel
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies, margin analysis and profitability optimization
  • Well-informed of health and nutrition trends, food labeling, and consumer behavior.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working with large-scale customer or transaction data in a retail or grocery environment.
  • Grocery retail experience strongly preferred

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.
