POSITION SUMMARY

The Content Marketing Manager plays a strategic role in shaping Cryoport Systems’ brand narrative and driving demand through high‑quality, audience‑focused content. This individual is responsible for turning strategic guidance into high-quality content that aligns with strategy, demand generation, brand and communications goals.
 

This role requires deep writing expertise combined with an understanding of foundational marketing principles, including content’s role in the buyer journey, lead-generation programs, SEO, and integrated go-to-market activities. The ideal candidate has proven experience producing impactful content for the life sciences industry with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling messaging.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to) 

  • Develop and execute content that supports marketing strategy, demand generation programs, brand awareness, and integrated campaigns.
  • Create high‑quality content across formats including blogs, white papers, case studies, info briefs, sales‑enablement materials, and internal communications.
  • Write copy for digital channels including social media, corporate webpages and conference landing pages.
  • Develop derivative assets from core content pieces to maximize reuse and go-to-market impact.
  • Translate complex life sciences concepts into clear, compelling narratives tailored to biopharmaceutical, reproductive medicine, and animal health audiences.
  • Interview subject matter experts and convert technical insights into audience‑appropriate content.
  • Optimize content for SEO by applying keyword strategies and best practices to increase organic visibility and inbound traffic.
  • Measure content performance using analytics; make recommendations to improve engagement, reach, and conversion.
  • Ensure brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency across all touchpoints and content outputs.
  • Manage and maintain the approved marketing copy library for use across internal teams and digital channels.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure content alignment and accuracy.
  • Support development of scripts for videos, webinars, and event presentations.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Identify content gaps proactively and recommend new assets that improve customer journey effectiveness.

  • Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and how content supports demand generation, lead nurturing, and brand awareness.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail; skilled in both B2B and B2C communication.
  • Ability to translate complex life sciences topics into engaging, accessible content.
  • Demonstrated experience developing customer‑journey mapping and content distribution plans.
  • Strong organizational and project‑management abilities; able to prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Highly collaborative and skilled at working with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and adapt quickly.
  • Strong communicator capable of influencing stakeholders, building consensus, and driving clarity across teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or technical writing (life sciences industry experience required)
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating strong content assets for life sciences
  • Experience supporting marketing programs including demand generation, digital marketing, social media, and SEO.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation platforms, and SEO tools preferred.

Compensation

Up to $95,000 depending on experience + bonus + benefits + 401K + stock
