Objective

To support Client’s marketing team by transforming high-value pillar content into a scalable, multi-channel content engine that drives audience engagement, brand visibility, and pipeline growth—without increasing internal bandwidth.

Profile Overview

Client is seeking a strategic, hands-on content strategist with strong experience in content repurposing and multi-channel distribution. This individual will play a key role in building and executing a repeatable content flywheel by transforming long-form assets, such as podcasts and research reports into high-performing derivative content.

The ideal candidate is both a thinker and a doer: someone who can develop content strategy while also executing high-quality copy across channels. Experience working with founder-led or personality-driven content (e.g., podcasts, LinkedIn thought leadership) is highly preferred. The writer must be able to adapt tone and messaging across formats while maintaining consistency with Client’s brand voice and audience-first approach.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine a content flywheel strategy that repurposes podcast episodes and other pillar content into:
    • LinkedIn posts and thought leadership content
    • Email campaigns and newsletters
    • Blog articles and SEO-driven content
    • Short-form video scripts
    • Website and supporting marketing assets
  • Own the end-to-end content workflow from content release through asset creation and distribution
  • Write and edit high-quality, channel-specific copy aligned with audience intent and brand voice
  • Build and manage a content calendar tied to podcast and content releases (e.g., in Notion)
  • Identify opportunities to optimize content performance across key channels, including LinkedIn, email, and organic search
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing and sales teams to ensure content supports broader business goals
  • Establish and maintain scalable, repeatable processes for efficient content production
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in content marketing, editorial, or content strategy roles (3+ years)
  • Strong track record of building or managing content engines, flywheels, or media programs
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple formats and channels
  • Experience with B2B content and audience-first messaging strategies
  • Deep familiarity with LinkedIn content and engagement best practices
  • Ability to work from raw inputs (e.g., transcripts, recordings, research) and translate them into polished assets
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute independently
  • Strong organizational skills and process-driven approach
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Notion, and SEO platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush)
About Client

Client is a growth-focused organization leveraging content as a core driver of brand, audience, and pipeline development. The team operates with a lean, high-impact approach, prioritizing strategic content initiatives that maximize reach and engagement across channels. This role will be instrumental in scaling Client’s content efforts through a structured, repeatable content engine built on high-quality pillar content.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
