The Contract Administrator will also support contract lifecycle management, help drive process improvements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as privacy, information security, and finance. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to grow, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, timely work.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle confidential/sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism at all times
  • Work closely with Galileo’s attorneys on Galileo-related meetings, initiatives, and projects

What you’ll need:

  • Accountability – You take full ownership of your responsibilities and deliver results through to completion. You hold yourself accountable for follow-through and outcomes.
  • Trustworthiness – You consistently demonstrate reliability to your colleagues and stakeholders. You do what you say you’re going to do, and others can depend on you.
  • Effective Communication – You communicate clearly, concisely, and consistently in all directions—upward, across teams, and externally—ensuring alignment and transparency; including the ability to draft, edit, and proofread legal and business documents with precision.
  • High-Quality, Timely Work Product – Your work is accurate, well-organized, and delivered on time. You proactively communicate when tasks are completed and follow up to ensure closure.
  • Growth Mindset – You are eager to learn, open to feedback, and willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone. You seek opportunities to develop professionally and take initiative to expand your knowledge and skills.
  • Superior attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work, from document preparation to tracking deadlines.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical and proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and remain calm and productive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (G-Suite), Airtable, Venminder, IronClad, and Confluence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and professional demeanor when working across legal, business, and operational teams.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
