About GameChanger:

We believe in the life changing impact youth sports have on and off the field. Sports encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence – important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports.

So if you love sports and their community building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today.

The Position:

GameChanger is seeking a collaborative Associate Brand Manager to support the planning, development, and execution of brand initiatives under our flagship GameChanger brand across youth sports with a focus on baseball and softball. You will help drive brand health growth through campaigns, content, strategy, and implementation by partnering across teams to develop integrated campaigns, manage creative assets, and ensure consistency across all brand touch points.

You'll report to our Senior Brand Manager to help scale our storytelling efforts across owned and paid channels, develop toolkits for key moments in the sports calendar, and support daily marketing planning operations. Ideal individual is highly collaborative who can coordinate across creative, performance marketing, finance, and product teams. This is a remote contract position with occasional travel to support key marketing events.

What You'll Do:

  • Shape Brand Perceptions: Support and develop marketing programs that promote a compelling brand narrative that aligns with our values and vision, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects our core message.

  • Execute Brand Marketing Initiatives: Responsible for managing the planning milestones for brand marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and seamless connection across multiple consumer touchpoints.

  • Build and strengthen brand associations: Enhance brand activation and associations with Major League Baseball, Little League, and other strategic partners by managing the event and content strategy to drive brand awareness

  • Brand KPIs and Measurement: Track brand health by analyzing data from the Brand Health Tracker study, ensuring continuous monitoring of key performance indicators and providing actionable insights to guide strategic decisions. Monitor campaign and strategic initiative performance and develop data-backed recommendations to inform future planning.

  • Content Creation Expert: Develop and oversee compelling content projects in partnership with internal studio and external agencies to effectively drive brand awareness, distinctiveness and relevance with the target audience.

  • Execution: Support the execution of brand campaigns and integrated marketing efforts under the GameChanger Brand umbrella. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on timelines, messaging, and asset needs.

  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, creative reviews, and asset delivery for brand moments.

  • Culture Branding: Help identify emerging trends and cultural moments that GameChanger Brand can authentically tap into.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ year of brand marketing experience, including internships or entry-level roles.

  • Strong understanding of baseball and softball culture, and the communities that support them.

  • Experience managing campaign timelines, assets, and deliverables across internal teams or external partners.

  • Highly collaborative across teams to keep messaging and execution aligned across channels.

  • Comfortable writing briefs, campaign updates, or internal docs that help teams stay on the same page.

  • Contributed to projects where plans, timelines, or stakeholders shifted and helped keep work moving forward through those changes.

The target hourly rate for this six month contract position is between $40 and $55 an hour.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
