Are you a skilled recruiter eager to be part of our Health Talent Acquisition efforts from the convenience of your home office? We're expanding our Health Talent Acquisition Team and seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Temporary Recruiter.   As a proactive talent "hunter," you'll be instrumental in sourcing and attracting top-tier talent to join our organization. Collaborating closely with hiring managers and external partners, you'll develop innovative recruitment strategies that reflect our mission, values, and culture.

Your mission? To identify those elusive "Purple Squirrels" - candidates with exceptional, rare skills perfectly aligned with our needs.

In this role, you'll cultivate strong relationships with hiring leaders, refine job descriptions, and employ diverse sourcing strategies to tap into hidden talent pools. Your strategic thinking and creative approach will be vital in navigating the competitive talent landscape. By delivering exceptional candidate experiences and highlighting the value of EXL and our global services, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our future success.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Overview:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand organizational plans and talent requirements.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, from community services to online platforms, to attract top talent.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications through interviews and assessments.
  • Coordinate leadership interviews, managing logistics as needed.
  • Partner with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions.
  • Recommend innovative practices to enhance organization attractiveness and competitiveness.
  • Stay updated on recruitment regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to HR and organizational goals through effective talent acquisition strategies.
Qualifications

Success Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding. 
  • Healthcare specific industry knowledge, understanding roles, skill sets, and market trends with specific Auditing areas such as:
    • DRG Auditors
    • Clinical Validation Auditors (CVA)
    • Outpatient Auditors
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Relationship-building abilities to foster candidate connections.
  • Strong time management skills for handling multiple tasks.
  • Tech-savviness with applicant tracking systems and other tools.
  • Adaptability to evolving recruitment landscapes.
  • Data-driven mindset to optimize strategies.
  • Negotiation skills for managing offers and expectations.
  • Problem-solving abilities for addressing recruitment challenges effectively.

Hourly rate is $25-40 per hour

The posted range is the hiring range for this role — a subset of the broader range available to employees over time — and reflects base salary across our national hiring scale. Final offers are based on several factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, internal pay equity, work location, market conditions for the role, and the specific scope and responsibilities of the position. The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications. For positions based in higher-cost zones (e.g., California, New York, New Jersey), actual compensation may exceed the posted range; your recruiter will share specifics during the process.
