This is a remote contract position.

Position Overview

Saia is seeking an experienced Contract Sales Recruiter to support our continued growth by identifying and attracting top sales talent within the transportation and logistics industry.

This contract role will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team and business leaders to source, engage, and deliver qualified sales professionals who can help drive business growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify top sales talent, including Account Executives, Business Development Executives, and other logistics sales professionals

• Leverage industry knowledge and recruiting expertise to attract passive candidates within transportation, LTL, freight, and 3PL markets

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and relationship building

• Conduct candidate outreach, screening, and qualification to assess sales experience, industry background, and alignment with Saia’s needs

• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to understand business objectives, hiring priorities, and candidate profiles

• Provide market insights and recruiting recommendations to support successful sales hiring strategies

• Maintain a high level of candidate engagement throughout the recruiting process while representing Saia’s employer brand

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting sales professionals, with a focus on logistics, transportation, freight, or related industries

• Strong understanding of sales roles, including Account Executives and Business Development professionals

• Demonstrated success sourcing and attracting passive sales talent

• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and candidate engagement skills

• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with internal teams
