Job Description

The Coordinator III Customer Order Operations at Motorola Solutions plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of complex customer orders, from initial entry to final delivery. This position involves coordinating with various internal departments and external partners to maintain efficient order fulfillment and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end processing of customer sales orders, including order entry, validation, and tracking, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules, providing timely and professional responses.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Logistics, Production, and Finance teams to resolve order-related issues, discrepancies, and special requests.

  • Monitor order backlogs and proactively communicate potential delays or changes to customers and relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Generate and analyze reports on order volume, fulfillment rates, and customer service metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Assist in the development and documentation of order processing procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving customer order experience and supply chain effectiveness.

  • Handle order escalations and work towards swift resolutions, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and company policies related to order fulfillment and shipping.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in customer order operations, order management, or a similar role within a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and data entry.

  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Target Base Salary Range: $48,000 - $54,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a office environment, customer operations, or services administration
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
