POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Strategy Specialist will play a crucial role in defining the company’s long-term strategic direction and creating compelling content for our internal and external stakeholders for delivery by the company’s CEO and C-Suite Executives. Most notably, this individual will be responsible for creating content for the company’s regular “Strategy Day” global event, including the creation of compelling stories, developing presentation and visual materials, and writing scripts. The role requires close interaction with the CEO, senior executives, and employees throughout the company. More broadly, the role also involves driving high-priority business projects, leading critical initiatives, and coordinating company-wide activities spanning everything from strategic growth initiatives to operational excellence programs. This position offers a significant opportunity to influence the growth, direction, and future of F5.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop compelling and comprehensive content for the CEO and C-Suite Executives, requiring a keen sense for strategy formulation, ways to illuminate key insights and broad business acumen
  • Create effective stories using a variety of communication tools to inform stakeholders (e.g., including the Board, the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team, and broad employee audiences)
  • Build executive-level presentations and write speeches
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops, ensuring preparation and driving tangible outcomes
  • Assist senior business executives in framing, evaluating, and executing against strategic options
  • Lead cross-functional teams to analyze strategic issues and develop options
  • Synthesize findings to develop strategic recommendations
  • Create structured analytical and financial models drawing upon data from various sources (e.g., including Capital IQ, third-party analyst research, survey data, etc.)
  • Identify and manage the impact of insights on the broader organization, including developing and presenting strategic viewpoints, goals, and proposed outcomes

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Experience identifying, evaluating, and analyzing critical strategic questions
  • Prior experience in Executive Communications or similar
  • Prior experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or similar
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams in parallel
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence others
  • Focus on execution with the ability to deliver high-quality, synthesized analysis
  • Creative problem-solving skills and comfort with financial analysis
  • Ability to develop quantitative financial models to provide business insights
  • Experience working across multiple business units or functions to drive consensus

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • High energy, positive attitude, self-starter, and motivated
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong presence, comfortable interacting with senior business leaders
  • Preference for prior experience in enterprise infrastructure technology
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or engineering (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 7+ years of related experience to include story lining and storytelling using PowerPoint
  • Experience conducting deep structured interviews
  • Proficiency in Excel or programming languages for financial modeling

The annual base pay for this position is: $132,800.00 - $199,200.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
