Corporate Strategy Lead, AI

The Corporate Strategy team sits at the center of Pinterest within the EPD organization (Engineering, Product, & Design), helping to shape and communicate the company's multi-year growth strategy. We serve as the connective tissue between key product, engineering, sales, marketing and other cross-functional teams to accelerate Pinterest innovation and business growth.

This is a rare opportunity to join a company undergoing rapid transformation in a high-impact role, working on the most critical company-wide efforts. The Corporate Strategy Lead, AI role will be responsible for thinking long-term about industry trends, responsible for developing comprehensive market and competitive insights to inform strategic decisions around AI at the company.

What you’ll do:

• Deeply understand Pinterest’s business model, growth strategy, differentiated product offerings, customers and partners 
• Articulate Pinterest’s current market positioning, threats and strategic opportunities in a rapidly changing AI environment 
• Build out relevant datasets and dashboards that uplevel leadership’s understanding of internal metrics and facilitate forward-facing modeling and scenario planning 
• Present actionable insights and proposals to the executive team. Collaborate with the Market Intelligence function to synthesize holistic insights for cross-functional partners (e.g., Sales, Product and engineering leaders) on the competitive landscape to incorporate into planning and GTM strategy

What we’re looking for: 

• Familiarity with ML/AI, and ideally GenAI at the consumer, developer, and enterprise level
• Highly analytical and data driven, with proven storytelling abilities through data visualization and narrative 
• Experience in building trusted relationships and influencing senior stakeholders
• Comfortable navigating global organization structures and working across cross-functional teams
• Highly strategic thinker with an adaptive mindset and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable with and has experience partnering and influencing across matrixed organizations
• Python Competency required
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

In Office Requirement Statement:

• This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1 time /quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country
