About Us:

At Read AI we’re redefining how teams collaborate by bringing intelligence to every conversation. Our platform supercharges productivity across meetings, messages, and email, so work gets done faster, smarter, and with better focus. We integrate seamlessly with tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, and more, helping teams stay aligned and move forward, whether they’re in the same room or across time zones.

Backed by $82 million in funding from Smash Capital, Madrona, and Goodwater Capital, Read AI is growing. If you're excited to shape the future of AI-powered collaboration and want to make an impact at a product-focused startup, we’d love to meet you.

The Role:

Read AI is looking for a Brand & Creative Designer who can make a sophisticated AI product clear, compelling, and impossible to scroll past.

This is not a Product Designer role. You'll sit in Marketing and own creative execution across brand, video, social, campaigns, launches, and the marketing website. Multidisciplinary, not static-brand-only: you should be able to turn a product capability or customer problem into a visual concept, short-form video, product demo, landing page, or sales story — and go from idea to publish-ready work without a production team behind you.

What You’ll Do:

Brand and visual identity

  • Evolve Read AI's visual identity as the company grows beyond the AI meeting-notetaker category, with a flexible system that works across consumer, prosumer, team, and enterprise audiences.

  • Build guidelines, templates, and reusable components that let teams move faster without a visual free-for-all — and keep consistency across web, campaigns, social, video, events, and sales materials.

Video and product storytelling

  • Create and edit short-form video for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, paid social, product education, and launches.

  • Turn complex workflows into concise demos that show, not describe, why Read matters. Same for customer education on key features and integrations.

  • Spin multiple hooks, lengths, crops, captions, and CTAs out of one core concept, combining product capture, motion graphics, voiceover, founder footage, and creator assets.

  • Build a process that supports both rapid social output and higher-production launch moments — and know when lo-fi will outperform polish.

Social-native creative

  • Design for each platform's conventions rather than resizing one asset for every channel. Hooks, watch time, pacing, thumbnails, aspect ratios.

  • Turn product announcements, customer stories, and company moments into social content that gives Read a distinctive identity rather than looking like every other AI company.

  • Test emerging formats quickly without chasing every trend.

Campaign and growth creative

  • Partner with User Acquisition on paid social creative, building structured variants across audience, use case, hook, format, proof point, and CTA.

  • Design campaign and conversion landing pages with Growth, Product Marketing, and web dev, keeping the promise coherent from ad through landing experience.

  • Review performance and feed it into the next round. Balance brand-building against measurable acquisition goals.

Launches, web, and enablement

  • Partner with Product Marketing on the visual system for launches, and design marketing and launch pages, product storytelling modules, comparison pages, and use-case pages.

  • Create webinar assets, customer stories, one-pagers, presentations, event materials, and sales collateral.

  • Work with Product Design to represent the product accurately while keeping marketing design and product UX distinct.

What You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years in brand, marketing, creative, multimedia, or visual design, with a portfolio spanning brand, digital campaigns, social, and video.

  • Strong video editing, motion, pacing, and visual storytelling — including short-form social and product demos.

  • Command of Figma plus Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci, CapCut, or equivalent. Fluency with AI-assisted tools and the judgment to know when they improve output and when they cost you trust.

  • Real understanding of social platforms and internet culture, not just platform specs.

  • Excellent typography, composition, and art direction; experience designing conversion-oriented landing pages.

  • Ability to turn a complex technical capability into a simple visual story.

  • Comfort using performance data to improve creative without treating the brand as a pile of CTR tests.

  • A history of shipping meaningful work with limited resources and direction. SaaS, consumer, prosumer, or AI product experience strongly preferred.
