We are looking for a Creative Strategy Lead to join our growing in-house creative and marketing team. This is a high-impact role focused on guiding campaign messaging, creative concepting, and communications strategy across all customer touchpoints.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing & Creative and act as a strategic thought partner, shaping the narratives that bring our brand, products, and community engagement efforts to life. You’ll be responsible for translating ideas into bold, clear, and compelling creative, starting with English-language copy used for internal alignment and creative direction, and evolving into fully bilingual (English/Spanish) external campaigns.

You’ll also collaborate closely on the team’s transition into AI-assisted creative production, helping identify tools, establish workflows, and enhance creative velocity while maintaining quality and cultural nuance.

What’s the role?
Campaign Strategy & Messaging

  • Develop overarching messaging frameworks and creative direction for brand, product marketing, and related campaigns.
  • Create internal briefs and narrative guidelines that guide cross-functional alignment and production.
  • Collaborate with our in-house copywriter, designers, and motion creatives to bring concepts to life in Spanish and other languages and across channels.
  • Ensure consistency of tone, brand voice, and messaging across all materials—from social and landing pages to out-of-home and grassroots.

Creative Leadership

  • Act as the campaign lead across marketing initiatives—from concept to rollout.
  • Work directly with the Head of Marketing & Creative to align creative work with strategic goals.
  • Elevate our storytelling and messaging quality, ensuring each campaign speaks with clarity, confidence, and relevance.

AI-Driven Creative Innovation (in collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Creative)

  • Identify opportunities to scale creative output while maintaining brand integrity and cultural nuance.
  • Support the development of internal workflows that integrate AI tools efficiently, ethically, and collaboratively across the team.
  • Contribute to our transition into AI-assisted creative production—exploring ideation, content generation, versioning, and automation.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in creative strategy, campaign development, brand communications, or related fields.
  • Strong background in messaging development, content strategy, or creative direction.
Fluent in English and Spanish with a strong understanding of bilingual/multicultural marketing.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills—especially in crafting internal campaign briefs, messaging docs, and core creative narratives.
  • A portfolio of work that shows your ability to create messaging frameworks and lead high-impact campaigns.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, in-house environment.
  • Interest and hands-on experience with AI tools in marketing, content creation, or production.
  • Strategic thinker who’s excited to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, and raise the creative bar.

If you’re interested in joining our mission as Creative Strategy Lead, please apply by submitting your resume on our careers page.

We believe in equal opportunity and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
