Position Overview:
Are you passionate about financial planning and eager to launch your career in education? Colibri Group’s Boston Institute of Finance (BIF) is seeking a Curriculum Specialist to support CFP® Certification candidates within our BIF/Bryant CFP® Education Curriculum. In this exciting entry-level role, you’ll work closely with students to help them grasp essential financial planning concepts, assist in moderating virtual classrooms, and support the ongoing development of high-quality educational content.

What you'll do
- Assist in supporting CFP® certification candidates studying within the Boston Institute of Finance (BIF)/Bryant CFP® Education Curriculum.
- Respond to fundamental content-related questions under supervision.
- Support students in understanding basic financial planning concepts.
- Connect students with high-quality internal and external educational resources.
- Support the moderation of BIF CFP® education virtual classes.
- Help maintain the quality and accuracy of educational content.
- Participate in content improvement initiatives, vetting suggestions from students and faculty.
- Provide basic support to students seeking clarification across all CFP® Education domains.
- Establish best practices for utilizing AI resources for content research.
- Create documentation and protocols for AI usage in educational content development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning (preferred), Finance, Business, Education, or related field required.
- Basic knowledge of financial planning principles.
- Willing to work towards the attainment of the CFP® Certification within 2 years of hire.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with virtual learning environments.
- Basic organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in financial planning education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Some experience in education or training (internship experience accepted)
- Familiarity with online learning platforms.
- Customer service experience.
- Tutoring or teaching assistant experience.
