About the Team

The Customer Data Science team at Statsig plays a critical role in ensuring our customers succeed with experimentation and data-driven decision-making. This team bridges the gap between product, data, and customer success—guiding customers of all experience levels in leveraging Statsig’s tech stack to run, interpret, and optimize experiments. Whether working with companies that have years of expertise in experimentation or individuals just starting their journey, we provide support, insights, and best practices to maximize value from Statsig.

What you’ll do

As a Customer Data Scientist at Statsig, you will be responsible for helping prospective and existing customers successfully adopt and utilize our experimentation platform. You will work closely with customers, product, and data teams to provide guidance, troubleshoot challenges, and shape the future of experimentation at Statsig.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their data needs and provide solutions to their challenges, guiding them through Statsig’s tech stack to create, launch, and interpret experiments.

  • Partner with prospective and current customers' data teams, demonstrating how Statsig solves their challenges and meets or exceeds their experimentation needs.

  • Help scale and improve the efficiency of Statsig’s sales and customer success efforts.

  • Dive into raw data to diagnose and debug issues, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

  • Serve as the face of Statsig’s Data Science team, representing our company values and expertise.

Who you are

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about experimentation, enjoys working closely with customers, and has a strong technical background. You should be comfortable explaining complex statistical methodologies to diverse audiences and eager to help customers navigate their experimentation journey.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with experimentation as a product data scientist. Must be proficient in explaining underlying methodologies and statistical techniques to audiences with different technical backgrounds.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data manipulation techniques.

  • Strong customer focus and ability to empathize with customer needs.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work full time on-site from our Bellevue, WA office.

Compensation: Compensation for this role is a combination of base salary and equity with a base salary range of $165,000-$200,000
