Job Description

At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta’s U.S. Seeds Marketing and Commercial Strategy Team is seeking a Golden Harvest Seeds Marketing Lead to support the region west of the Missouri River.

In this role, you will develop and execute marketing programs and campaigns for corn and soybean growers to strengthen and grow the Golden Harvest Seeds brand and support retail and channel performance.

Territory Includes: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas

Accountabilities:

  • Execute channel marketing strategies and campaigns to increase market share and support ambitious growth goals.
  • Define customer and market segmentation for the region and position the brand value proposition to match customer needs and opportunities.
  • Partner with product and marketing teams to support brand development, field experiences, and customer-facing activities.
  • Use data, market research, and performance insights to recommend actions that drive retail growth and market share.
  • Manage day-to-day channel marketing operations and ensure strong execution across the region.
  • Adapt plans and priorities based on regional differences, seasonal needs, and changing market conditions.
  • Monitor competitive activity and develop in-season tactics, contingency plans, and resource recommendations to support sales and financial results.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Marketing/Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of strategic sales and/or marketing experience within the agriculture industry.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), along with interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and planning/organizing skills.
  • Working knowledge of marketing fundamentals, including campaign development, marketing best practices, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), segmentation, and long-term value concepts.
  • Knowledge of agriculture, including agronomy and seed and crop protection practices.
  • Ability to use market research and competitive insights to understand customers, markets, and channels.
