Runwise (www.runwise.com) is a fast-paced, customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls and runs the key energy systems (heating, water, etc…) in 7500+ buildings throughout the US. Runwise’s unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today, Runwise’s technology takes the equivalent of 80,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year.

At Runwise, our barometer for success is customer satisfaction. As a Customer Onboarding Manager, you will become an expert in orchestrating the seamless integration of our groundbreaking products and services into the operations of both new and existing clients. • Use Salesforce as your primary project management tool to ensure data management
  • Provide support to customers via diverse communication channels, including emails and phone calls, ensuring consistent updates regarding installation progress.
  • Address customer inquiries that arise between the sales phase and their introduction to their dedicated Customer Success Managers.
  • Maintain comprehensive team communication by consistently relaying job status updates.
  • Work hand in hand with your onboarding coordinator to expedite the processing of incentivized installations funded through national utility companies.

Essential Competencies:

  • Enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and be good at understanding others.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective correspondence.
  • Be good at multitasking and managing several tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Be motivated and driven to ensure customer satisfaction and success with our solutions.

This role at Runwise demands an individual who is passionate about fostering positive customer experiences and capable of managing a comprehensive onboarding process that defines excellence. If you are prepared to shape the future of customer engagement within the climate-tech landscape, we eagerly await your application. Join us in our mission to reshape energy utilization and drive environmental stewardship on an unprecedented scale.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
