What’s the scope of this role?
The Business Solution Architect is accountable to lead design, architecture and support delivery of end-to-end telecom solutions aligned with business strategy and digital transformation initiatives. The role bridges business requirements and technical implementation across OSS/BSS ecosystems, including CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management, Inventory, and Network Systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in telecom operations, system integration, and digital BSS/OSS transformation programs.
Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design end-to-end OSS/BSS architecture aligned with business and IT strategy.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions.
- Define system integration architecture (APIs, ESB, Microservices, TMF Open APIs).
- Ensure solutions comply with TM Forum Frameworx (eTOM, SID, TAM).
- Provide high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD).
Business & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Business, IT, and Operational managers on the customer side and at the Director/VP level.
- Conduct requirement workshops and solution discussions.
- Present solution proposals to executive stakeholders.
- Support RFP/RFI responses and solution estimations.
OSS/BSS Domain Leadership
Lead architecture across:
- CRM
- Product Catalog
- Order Management (OM)
- Billing & Revenue Management
- Charging Systems (OCS)
- Mediation
- Inventory Management
- Service Fulfillment & Assurance
- Network Management Systems
- Support digital transformation initiatives (cloud-native BSS, API-led architecture).
Delivery & Implementation Support
- Guide development and integration teams.
- Perform solution reviews and architecture validations.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support UAT and production deployments.
Required Skills & Experience
Preferred
- Experience with leading telecom vendors (Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia, Netcracker, Oracle, Huawei, Accenture, Produpt, Cap etc.)
- Exposure to Digital BSS transformation programs
- Experience in multi-vendor integration environments
Domain Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Telecom OSS/BSS architecture.
- Understanding of prepaid/postpaid billing systems.
- Experience in Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Trouble-to-Resolve processes.
- Familiarity with 4G/5G architecture and digital services.
Technical Skills
- API-first and Microservices architecture
- TMF Open APIs
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Middleware/ESB
- Database technologies
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
