POSITION SUMMARY 

EarnIn is seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist to lead the end-to-end implementation of new payroll bureau clients licensing the EarnIn Payroll product suite. This role owns the full implementation lifecycle from initial system configuration through data migration, training, and go-live support and acts as a trusted advisor to bureau partners throughout their onboarding and beyond. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, has deep payroll/HCM domain expertise, and can manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from kickoff to completion.

This is a remote position offering the opportunity to create meaningful impact in a dynamic, fast-paced fintech environment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $86,000-$106,000, plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Lead full-cycle implementations for new payroll bureau clients licensing EarnIn Payroll, from kickoff through go-live.
  • Configure the EarnIn Payroll platform to meet each bureau’s specific business rules, workflows, and client requirements.
  • Manage data migration activities, including extracting, mapping, validating, and importing legacy payroll data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Deliver training programs and documentation for bureau administrators and end users.
  • Provide hands-on consulting to bureaus on payroll configuration best practices, compliance considerations, and system optimization.
  • Own project plans, timelines, and status communication across internal teams and bureau stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned implementations, managing scope, risks, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with the Customer Experience and Product teams to escalate and resolve configuration gaps or product issues identified during implementation.
  • Conduct post-go-live support and health checks to ensure a smooth transition to the Support team.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate implementation documentation for every account.
  • Create and contribute to onboarding processes, documentation and ongoing customer operations

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of experience in the payroll or HCM industry, including hands-on system implementation, configuration, or consulting.
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle software implementations, ideally for B2B/SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax compliance, and payroll data structures (earnings, deductions, garnishments, etc.).
  • Experience with payroll data migration, including data mapping and validation.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to and training external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
  • Payroll or HR certification or equivalent professional credential preferred.
  • Experience with payroll bureau, PEO, or multi-client payroll service business models preferred.
  • Experience with the following software/ companies: Millenium, PayEntry, Proliant, iSolved, Asure, Apex, Execupay preferred.
