With years of local expertise and an award-winning service track record, Praos stands as a leading local Richmond home security company. With a monitored new system plan, new customers receive FREE Equipment and Free Installation.

But our efforts don’t stop there. We’re also at the forefront of creating a truly connected home experience. This means one connected app for security, automation, solar integration, and surveillance. Our team works closely with our customers to customize a smart home system tailored to their needs and budget. No matter where you are, you can have peace of mind knowing that your home is monitored and protected.

While the global home security systems market was valued at $52.3 billion in 2021, and is expected to reach USD $84.4 billion by 2027, and with solar integration offered by Praos, the growth opportunity is tremendous.

We built Praos to tip the odds of success in our favor, by using seamless digital technology to remain a 100% Virtual company, which allows us to maintain lower over head costs, provide lower prices, professional installation, and exceptional service. And, we are just getting started.

About the role

  • Join our team of motivated Smart Home Solar Sales Advisors, who advice homeowners on the benefits of combining smart home automation with solar integration in an all-in-one app for greater peace of mind, while improving their lifestyle and saving them time and money. What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
