About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Dynamics 365 System Architect / Team Leader to provide architectural and technical leadership across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in D365 F&O, Retail/Commerce, and large-scale enterprise implementations, combined with strong leadership experience managing matrixed, cross-functional teams.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can align system architecture with business objectives, ensure operational excellence, and lead complex implementations in high-scale, mission-critical environments.

Location

This is an onsite opportunity in New Hampshire. The ideal candidate should be present in New Hampshire or willing to relocate to New Hampshire with the eligibility to work in the USA.

Essential Functions
  • Design and oversee end-to-end system architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Commerce, and Retail solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
  • Lead the technical and functional design of solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to define and optimize Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, eCommerce, and Call Center workflows
  • Architect and implement seamless integrations between D365 F&O, POS systems, payment gateways, tax ISVs, call centers, and third-party applications
  • Define and implement data migration strategies, ensuring smooth transition from legacy ERP and retail systems to D365
  • Configure and customize D365 Commerce, Call Center, and POS functionalities to meet business requirements
  • Oversee and guide technical teams in custom development, system extensions, and DevOps best practices
  • Optimize system performance and database queries, ensuring high availability and efficiency
  • Provide training, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing for technical teams and business users
  • Stay updated with Microsoft’s latest updates, feature releases, and industry trends, ensuring continuous improvement in solutions
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O implementations, with at least 4 years in a system architect role
  • Strong expertise in system architecture, integrations, performance tuning, and cloud-based solutions
  • Experience in X++, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, LCS, API services, and SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience with Retail Server, Commerce Scale Unit (CSU), data entities, SSIS, Power BI, and reporting solutions
  • Deep understanding of trade & logistics, supply chain, warehousing, and retail commerce within D365 F&O
  • Experience integrating D365 with third-party applications, Power Platform, and Azure services
  • Strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and version control
  • Ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers, and drive high-quality deliverables
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect Expert certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
