Working on the Operations Department

We are looking for a seasoned Data Analyst to join our team and empower us to make smarter, data-driven decisions. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap for non-technical teams, helping them gain deeper insights into our members.

A quick heads up: This is a part-time (minimum 20 hours/week, maximum 35 hours/week), contract role. There’s potential for it to convert into a longer-term opportunity. During the contract period, benefits won’t be available. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to jump in now and is excited about the possibility of growing with the team if the fit is right.

What You'll Get to Do

  • Report to the Senior Data Analyst.

  • Own our metrics, reporting, and data visualization tools.

  • Work with key stakeholders to understand the business and design reports and dashboards that allow our data to tell a story.

  • Quickly turn business questions into data visualizations that can be scalable throughout the organization.

  • Attention to detail and a constant ability to question the data and improve data integrity.

  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work closely across teams, time zones, and dependencies.

  • Demonstrate sound business judgment and proven ability to influence others and make excellent business and technical decisions.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 5+ years of experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.

  • A customer-first mindset, ensuring the end-user is at the center of every decision.

  • A customer-centric approach to product development, focusing on creating robust, scalable, accessible, and user-friendly solutions.

  • 0-to-1 experience, with a strong inclination toward shipping quickly, learning iteratively, and maintaining a high standard of quality.

  • A proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams and partners.

Preferred Skills for Strong Candidates

  • Data pipelines.

  • Running migrations and data backfills.

  • Database performance fine-tuning.

  • HIPPA compliant environment.

Compensation Philosophy (Full-time Employees)

The compensation range listed represents the total cash value, which includes a combination of base salary and an annual bonus or variable compensation. This range does not account for equity, which is included in the overall compensation package.
Compensation estimates are based on market data about the role and level, while individual compensation offers will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
