WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Data Analyst, Service and Sales, plays a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making across various functions. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, optimize processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization.  The person in this role must have a strong background in data analytics, SQL and Power BI.

A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

  • Collects, cleans, and analyzes data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develops and maintains SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
  • Creates and manages PowerBI dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Performs data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of data analytics best practices and standards.
  • Supports ad-hoc data analysis requests and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience in the insurance industry or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools preferred.
  • Experience with Vertafore product data structures and reporting.

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud data structures and reporting.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Effective communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
