We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Analytics & Strategy team. This role will focus on gathering business requirements, analyzing data, and developing reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making. The analyst will work closely with business leaders, store operations teams, and executives to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. This position requires the ability to work with large datasets, identify opportunities for process improvements, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be highly adaptable to evolving business needs, and bring a problem-solving mindset to drive operational efficiencies.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for reporting and analytics needs.
- Develop SQL queries to support business reporting and improve operational visibility.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, provide insights, and support key business decisions.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting by validating and testing data sources.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization in reporting workflows.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to improve analytics frameworks and streamline data processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, ensuring insights drive meaningful business improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Should have actual BSA experience (Not Business Analyst, PM, or Scrum Master).
- Should have Senior level experience i.e. min. 5 years of experience working as a BSA.
- Should have longer experience working for a single company.
- Should have experience handling complex projects.
- Should have experience dealing or getting requirements from executives and setting correct expectations.
- Should be able to handle at least 3 projects at a time along with managing below the line intake requests from segments.
- Should be able to work with Architects, Data Engineers, QA, Meta data management engineers, Data science and Business Analyst teams (if needed) to execute the project successfully.
- Should have experience with BI Tools like MicroStrategy or Tableau.
- Should have basic SQL skills to be able to run or understand simple queries to help with users questions.
- Should have experience working on Waterfall and Agile methodology (not just Agile).
