What we do
Max is the "One to Watch" Streaming App from Warner Bros Discovery featuring the largest and the critically acclaimed catalog from brands like HBO, CNN, Discovery, A24, Food Network and many more. At Max, the Growth Engineering team comprises ML engineers, data scientists, and software engineers. Our goal is to boost engagement and grow the number of active subscribers. We work across all customer interactions to develop data products that enhance the customer experience and optimize for retention and lifetime value.
What you'll Do
• Research, design, and build high-impact end-to-end data science & machine learning products for customer growth
• Leverage ML and causal inference to discover impactful insights from high-dimensional, noisy data
• Follow best practices of data science, engineering, and communication throughout the organization
• Partner with cross-functional teammates in Product, Design, Content, and Marketing to understand their problems and design solutions
What you'll Need
• B.S.in a Computer Science/Statistics/Data Science/Quant or related field
• Familiarity with common ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to learn from and collaborate with partners in engineering and product management
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, growth-oriented, and driven to solve challenging problems

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $91,000.00 - $169,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
