Role Overview

We are looking for a curious, analytically minded Data Science intern to join our team and help us unlock insights from our data. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside the team to develop predictive models and help shape how we use data to drive business decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis for various business cases (few non exhaustive examples - cross-selling, lapsed accounts, new prospects etc.)
  • Do feature engineering, train predictive machine learning models and do inference prediction for various business cases.
  • Collaborate with data engineering team to write clean, well-documented SQL queries against our Snowflake data warehouse to extract, transform, and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with PMO to identify data-driven opportunities and translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
  • Assist in improving data quality, documentation, and governance practices.
  • Contribute to ad hoc analyses and strategic projects as business needs arise.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib/seaborn) or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake or Azure Synapse / Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills — you can explain complex findings simply.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, or experimental design.
  • Exposure to dbt or other data transformation tools.
  • Knowledge of CRM data structures (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Prior internship or project experience in an analytics or data science capacity.
