Role Overview

We are seeking a curious and analytical Data Scientist Intern to support data-driven decision-making across business and technology teams. This internship offers hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, building analytical models, and translating data insights into actionable outcomes.

This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build a strong foundation in data science, analytics, and applied machine learning.

Internship Details
  • Duration: 3 months, with potential extension based on performance

  • Work Mode: Remote

  • Stipend: Unpaid initially; performance-based evaluation in the first quarter may lead to a paid internship extension or full-time opportunity

  • Working Hours: 8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns

  • Assist in building and validating statistical and machine learning models

  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights

  • Support data-driven decision-making through reports and presentations

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams

  • Document methodologies, findings, and outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:

    • Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

  • Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis fundamentals

  • Proficiency in Python

  • Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn

  • Basic knowledge of SQL

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred / Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and workflows

  • Exposure to Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

  • Understanding of data pipelines and ETL concepts
