As a Data Scientist, you will lead the design and development of complex data systems that drive strategic value across the organization. You'll operate at the intersection of data architecture, analytics, and execution – guiding technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring alignment with business goals. You'll take ownership of high-impact data initiatives spanning multiple teams and domains. You'll proactively identify opportunities, architect for scalable solutions, and balance short-term needs with long-term vision. Your work will address key business objectives while serving as a reference and pattern for other teams.
What You Will Do

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and analytical frameworks

  • Design and implement advanced statistical methodologies and predictive models to enhance data analysis capabilities

  • Deliver clear actionable insights through effective data visualization and comprehensive reporting to key stakeholders

  • Drive operational efficiency by developing and deploying analytics solutions that provide meaningful business intelligence

  • Lead data quality initiatives and establish data governance standards

  • Architect and optimize data pipelines for scalable analytics solutions

  • Develop automated monitoring systems for data integrity and model performance

  • Maintain expertise in emerging data technologies and industry best practices while continuously improving analytical processes

What You Will Have

  • 10+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and data science

  • Expert proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse optimization, including Redshift query and table design

  • Deep understanding of data lake architectures, ETL processes, data catalog management, and data lineage/impact analysis

  • Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines and productionizing models for both batch and streaming data workloads

  • Familiarity in stream processing technologies, including Apache Flink, Spark, Kafka

  • Hands-on experience with AWS data platforms, including EMR cluster management and performance optimization

  • Ability to apply industry best practices across analytics, data engineering, and applied data science workflows

  • Analytical, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills to resolve complex data challenges

  • Effective verbal, written, and data-driven communication, including presenting complex findings to diverse audiences

  • Excellent collaboration and partnership skills across technical and non-technical teams

Nice to Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Domain experience in healthcare, finance, or SaaS analytics
