The Deal Desk Manager will oversee deal structuring, pricing, approvals, and process improvements in collaboration with Sales and Finance departments.
At Weights & Biases, our mission is to build the best tools for AI developers. We founded our company on the insight that while there were excellent tools for developers to build better code, there were no similarly great tools to help ML practitioners build better models. Starting with our first experiment tracking product, we have since expanded our solution into a comprehensive AI developer platform for organizations focused on building their own deep learning models and generative AI applications.
Weights & Biases is a Series C company with $250M in funding and over 200 employees. We proudly serve over 1,000 customers and more than 30 foundation model builders including customers such as OpenAI, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Toyota.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Deal Desk Manager to join our growing RevOps team. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product to streamline deal execution, ensure pricing consistency, and drive operational efficiency across our commercial motion. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both usage-based and seat-based pricing models, and a deep understanding of CPQ tools like Salesforce CPQ or DealHub.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for deal structuring, pricing, and approval workflows
- Manage and optimize the deal approval process, including ownership and maintenance of the approval matrix
- Partner with Sales and Finance to ensure compliance with pricing policies and revenue recognition standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product/pricing launches and implement changes into CPQ systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert for usage-based and seat-based pricing models within the deal process
- Review and approve complex deals to ensure margin protection and policy alignment
- Identify and implement process improvements that reduce deal cycle time and increase scalability
- Deliver training to sales teams on pricing tools, discount policies, and deal processes
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or related function in a SaaS or tech company
- Direct experience supporting usage-based and seat-based pricing models
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce CPQ or DealHub (at least one required)
- Demonstrated experience owning and evolving a deal approval matrix
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Excel/Sheets proficiency required
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't perfectly align with the job description as we seek out diverse and creative perspectives. Team members who love to learn and collaborate in an inclusive environment will flourish with us. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
