Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana Cloud, the fully managed observability platform trusted by more than 10,000 organizations to ensure reliability, resolve incidents faster, and optimize telemetry at scale. Built on open source and open standards and designed for interoperability across any stack, Grafana Cloud brings AI to observability and observability to AI, giving teams (and their agents) unified visibility so they can see, understand, and act on all their disparate data, wherever it lives, and move at the speed of their ambitions. Customers, including Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce, rely on Grafana Labs. We are a 100% remote company with team members across 40+ countries, backed by leading investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Coatue, J.P. Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital. Learn more at grafana.com and follow us on LinkedIn and X.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.

You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a senior, AI-native demand generation marketer to own and evolve our lifecycle nurture programs. You'll take a program with proven ROI to its next phase: deeper personalization, continuous optimization, and bigger business impact at scale. This role blends AI-driven program design, multi-channel execution, and the influence to set the standard for how AI-native marketing works across our GTM teams.

  • We're in the early innings of a massive opportunity. Grafana is the open observability platform, trusted by 35M+ users and 7K+ customers worldwide, and usage-based cloud and open-source adoption is still just scratching the surface of enterprise observability.
  • This team is Grafana's center of excellence for AI-native marketing. The playbooks built here surface across the org.
  • AI-native lifecycle marketing at scale is an evolving playbook. You'll write it, with the autonomy to build the bold and the experimental.
  • You'll partner directly with GTM leadership across marketing, sales, and operations, owning shared outcomes and business impact of campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Innovate on the AI-native lifecycle marketing strategy. Set the standards, playbooks, and best practices other GTM programs adopt.
  • Own our AI email machine. Drive the next phase of Grafana's AI nurture engine, generating personalized emails at scale tuned to each user's journey, woven together with web, and paid lifecycle.
  • Optimize continuously. Evolve our programs over time, using AI and thoughtful prompt engineering to surface patterns and turn them into lift.
  • Own the cross-functional center. Surface pipeline signals that show the impact on shared outcomes across org lines.
  • Find the gaps first. Form hypotheses, run experiments, and build new capabilities for the org, not just incremental lift.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS demand generation or growth marketing, ideally in a technical or developer-focused product.
  • Multi-program ownership. A track record owning multiple programs or a channel strategy end to end across email nurture, web, and paid, not a single program.
  • AI workflow ownership. Repeatable AI systems you've built that still run, with a current working example you can walk through.
  • Data fluency. Salesforce, marketing analytics, and multi-touch attribution across a PLG + commercial motion.
  • A capability you multiplied. A standard, playbook, or workflow other marketers adopted and still use.
  • Strong communicator. You frame results as business impact and bring a recommendation with the reasoning behind it.

Bonus Points For

  •  Hands-on experience with Claude Code or n8n.

In the US, the base compensation range for this role is $127,651 - $153,180.  Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success. We believe in shared outcomes—RSUs help us stay aligned and invested as we scale globally.

*Compensation ranges are country specific. If you are applying for this role from a different location than listed above, your recruiter will discuss your specific market’s defined pay range & benefits at the beginning of the process.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
