As a leader in engineering services for gas and electric utilities, we specialize in engineering, designing, upgrading, and maintaining system assets. In this role, you'll be at the cutting edge of innovation, driving the design, upgrade, and maintenance of these critical systems.

We are seeking electrical Design Engineers throughout the state of Texas and Seattle, WA. This role involves local travel for occasional site visits and fieldwork, as well as office visits. Candidates should be located near an ENTRUST office and willing to work in the office when requested. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to ensure design meet project specifications. You'll communicate challenges related to scope, schedule, and quality, and collaborate with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages. 

In this role, you are enabled to be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and utilizing tools such as, Microsoft Copilot, bespoke AI workflow tools, and an IT team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation to enhance our operations and drive efficiency. All employees can engage with the Digital Transformation Team to support the integration of new tools and following employee ideas to drive success for the business.

• This position pays between $70K and $75K annually and is an exempt position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
• Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
• May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution
• Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional fieldwork and site visits
• Located near an ENTRUST office and willing to work a combination of from home and in the office, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EIT certification
