As a member of Data Centers Infrastructure team, the Developer II role is focused on developing our ManageIQ environment. ManageIQ is used for managing and automating IT services across various infrastructures. This includes developing, testing, and implementing new features, fixing bugs, and improving the platform's performance. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze and understand requirements, apply their technical skills in design, planning and testing their plans. We are looking for a self-starter, collaborative team player and a problem solver.
A solid understanding of data centers technologies will be required such as basic OS knowledge about Windows, Linux Red Hat (7,8,9) and Solaris. They must also have a solid understanding of different cloud functionalities such as Azure as we develop methods to deploy virtual machines in different ways.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and document end-to-end data solutions using ManageIQ.
- Ensure that Data Centers' infrastructure and products meet a high standard of quality to exceed customers' expectations.
- Debug and troubleshooting applications & infrastructure.
- Set up and maintain automated frameworks.
- Develop processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain high standards of quality through testing and validation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines.
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for talented people who are excited about what they do and who want to be part of a collaborative team.
- 3+ years experience working with ManageIQ
- Programming Languages: Ruby
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with:
- Object oriented analysis and design.
- Diagramming and communicating with disparate audiences of technical and non-technical people.
- Experience with GitLab/GitHub, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines, as well as GitOps.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline development, testing, integration and refinement.
- Using and building APIs within automation workflows.
- Understanding of design for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Experience assessing organizational security needs and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Customer service-oriented attitude and great time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A solid understanding of the Ruby on Rails framework including Ruby Gems for automation scripts and libraries.
- Supporting environments using Azure cloud infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Knowledge of other languages such as Python, PowerShell.
- Knowledge of operating systems including Linux, preferably RHEL7+, Windows and Solaris.
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
- Experience working within a SAFe/Agile development framework.
- Data Governance: Understanding of best practices for compliance and quality.
- Technical Documentation: Ability to clearly document processes and workflows both within the code and as documentation for users.

Additional InformationExpected base salary: $100,000 to $145,000
