Onit is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and support DevOps initiatives. You will have the responsibility of automating processes to support our products from development through production. This includes infrastructure provisioning (IaC), infrastructure management and monitoring, and building deployment pipelines for our products that are used by legal departments across the globe.

- This is a remote role.
- Build automation, provision, and manage cloud resources across development, test, and production environments.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of Onit applications.
- Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with Support specialists.
- Work with product teams to define and prioritize product related DevOps requirements (performance, scaling, monitoring, component upgrades, cloud native options, …).
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives to enable progress, and surface and resolve impediments.
- Implement solutions following Onit best practices for security, compliance, and governance across Onit applications infrastructure.
- Create runbooks and playbooks to help others support the infrastructure
- Help evaluate emerging Cloud and DevOps technologies continually to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices to strengthen development practices.
Required:
- Extensive AWS knowledge and experience
- 3+ years of recent experience managing and automating AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Experience running containers and Kubernetes in production
- Postgres or any SQL database experience
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and GitLab CI are a plus)
- Proficient in Linux and Git
- Experience in one or more programming languages (Ruby and or Python preferred)
- Experience with Enterprise Web applications in production
- Experience with Helm and Ansible are a plus
- Experience in the following AWS technologies (EC2, RDS, EFS, EKS, ECS, S3, SQS, Elasticache, VPC, Lambdas, Sagemaker ..)
