Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks DevSecOps Engineer III (multiple positions) in Irving, TX to, as part of the DevSecOps Enablement team.

2 days per week remote work is permitted.



Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for automating cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), embedding security practices into the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, automating security testing and vulnerability assessments. 
  • Responsible for DevSecOps lifecycle/service delivery using tools such as GitHub, Terraform, and/or Ansible. 
  • Work with application development team, operations, and security team to implement code security, automate security checks in the build and deployment process, securing cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with security polices and standards. 
  • Provide technical leadership for project team. 
  • Build and implement Kubernetes clusters and code manifest files via GitOps practices. 
  • Participate in peer code review/Code approver for automation code and standards. 
  • Maintain DevOps tools and technologies and provide platform governance. Implement DevSecOps standards across multiple clouds deployments. 
  • Provide technical leadership to develop GitHub Branching strategies, CI/CD process and controls, standard operating procedure and controls. 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: 

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of experience in DevOps platform engineering and 3 years of experience with: Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP; CI/CD tools such as GitHub Action workflows, Terraform, Ansible, Bash, or Python; using Kubernetes; using Terraform to design, implement and manage IaC in scalable, repeatable and secure infrastructure deployments; using Mulesoft Platform and Mulesoft REST API to automate tasks in CI/CD; scripting to automate reusable actions and workflows. Must have AWS or GCP Cloud Certification. 

ALT REQUIREMENTS: 

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; AWS or GCP Cloud Certification; plus 2 additional years of experience in each of the remaining requirements outlined above.
