This is a remote role for candidates in the EDT (Eastern Time Zone) with occasional travel to Rohirrim's headquarters and client sites.


We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our Azure DevOps cloud application with an API backend. The ideal candidate should have experience building secure Azure DevOps Pipelines, deploying Docker/Kubernetes (AKS),  Git, Python, Powershell, Prometheus and Terraform PostGres, and OAuth.


The ideal candidate for this role should have Customer consulting experience and strong problem solving skills. 


In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, developing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipeline, as well as deploying our application to hundreds of instances. You will also be responsible for maintaining our core technology, which makes heavy use of generative AI and a vector database.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop, maintain, and extend backend automation and integration tools using Python to support secure CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy our application to hundreds of instances.
  • Manage multi-tenant environments.
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell or Bash.
  • Integrate Client IAM (Entra ID) with Application Auth0/Octa
  • Security and Compliance: SOC2, ISO 27001, CMMC2
  • Monitor & Dashboard  application performance using Application Insights.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Implement and manage identity and access management solutions using Entra ID, including configuring conditional access policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), service principals, and integrating authentication/authorization for cloud-based applications and services.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes (AKS is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a larger team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
