Description

Founded in 2015, Aqua Security is the pioneer in securing containerized and cloud native applications. The Aqua Platform enables organizations to secure every cloud native application everywhere, from code commit to runtime. With enterprise scale that doesn’t slow development pipelines, Aqua helps customers secure their future in the cloud.

The DevSecOps Field Architect is a trusted technical advisor and hands-on enabler responsible for the successful deployment, adoption, and operationalization of Aqua Security’s platform within large-scale enterprise environments. You’ll collaborate closely with the Customer Success Managers and DevSecOps Architects to drive solution implementation, integration, and long-term customer value.

  • Collaborate with the DevSecOps Architect and CSM to align customer strategy, deployment goals, and technical milestones.
  • Drive the technical implementation, integration, and operationalization of Aqua solutions across the entire SDLC, production environments, and infrastructure.
  • Embed Aqua into enterprise toolchains via scripting, automation, and integrations (e.g., ticketing, vulnerability management, compliance management, SIEM).
  • Maintain technical ownership over a book of strategic enterprise customers, ensuring ongoing platform value and measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, reusable deployment assets, and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate across CSMs, DevSecOps Architects, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure coordinated execution of customer goals.
  • Be a voice of the customer internally—informing roadmap, improving product fit, and innovating on field delivery.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
