The Digital Commerce Operations Specialist manages a portfolio of customer business integrations for national or high-profile customers, enabling data access to customers and third-party software companies to meet specific business needs. Key responsibilities include project requirements gathering with customers and third-party software platforms, coordinating tasks and development needs with internal technical teams and providing continuous communication to all parties involved. This role will work to support ongoing integrations and assist in troubleshooting integration issues for quick resolution. The role will also manage relationships with key third-party platforms and identify opportunities to improve the process or technical integration with those systems.

Flexible Work Policy: The work for the Digital Commerce Operations Specialist position is completely remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Manage a large portfolio of customer business integration projects.
  • Attend calls for potential integrations to review requirements and determine scope of project.
  • Proactively review projects for potential gaps and/or missing requirements necessary to fulfill the business request.
  • Coordinate and manage project needs with technical and/or development teams and ensure these teams are completing their tasks within the project timeline.
  • Provide ongoing support and provide regular updates to all parties involved regarding the project status as well as potential roadblocks or delays.
  • Document completed projects in application and distribute material to customers, internal departments, sales training, update applications/systems required.
  • Work with technical team on support tickets for existing Integrations.
  • Serve as a resource and escalation point for issues and integrations managed by offshore resources 
  • Conduct routine reviews of third parties to determine if technical or process updates are required.
  • Other duties assigned by manager.

RELATIONSHIPS

  • Internal: Management, Team Members, Sales (Various Levels), Operations, IT Development, and IT Support, Legal and EITLT 
  • External: Customers, GPO’s, Consultants and Third-Party Software Company’s all levels up to VP/CEO.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.
  • Minimal travel required (up to 10%)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years' experience in gathering detailed business requirements, interpreting customer business needs, and translating needs into operational business requirements.
  • Prior experience as an IT Business or Integration Analyst working with B2B digital integrations.
  • Prior experience in customer service or customer facing role.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce/eBusiness environment (e.g. EDI, B2B eCommerce, Supply Chain, other electronic integrations).
  • Prior experience in integration procedure and process documentation.

EDUCATION

  • College degree or equivalent work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the Food Industry/Distribution.
  • Excellent decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent organization, and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong Knowledge and general understanding of IT/technical concepts.
  • Strong Knowledge of various file types e.g. EDI ANSI X12, XML, cXML, Flat Files. 
  • Strong Knowledge of Data warehouse, IBM, Sterling Integrator, EDI Translation Tools, CoreFtp/FileZilla.
  • Strong Knowledge of Communication Methods AS2, SFTP, FTP and Van.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.

This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).  The expected base rate for this role is between

$65,000 - $100,000
