The Role

We are seeking a Digital & Motion Designer on the Performance Creative team, who will report to the Director of Creative Operations & Production. You will support the concepting, design, animation, and production of high-performing paid digital creative and client-facing presentations. This role focuses on translating creative strategy into compelling visual assets, developing motion and static creative across multiple platforms, and delivering polished work that drives performance while maintaining brand consistency.

The ideal candidate enjoys the craft and pace of performance creative, taking pride in transforming creative concepts into engaging static and motion assets, designing across channels and formats, and balancing creative storytelling with production excellence. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and energized by creating impactful work in a fast-paced environment, thriving at the intersection of design, motion, and performance marketing. We're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted creative partner, contributing both conceptual thinking and hands-on execution to elevate our digital campaigns, rather than someone primarily focused on traditional brand, print, or long-form creative work.

We are prioritizing candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone (PST) to best support client and team needs.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $74,000 - $95,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
 
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions. 
**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!

You Will Be

  • Concepting, designing, and producing high-performing static and motion creative for paid digital campaigns across platforms including Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Search, and emerging channels
  • Partnering closely with Creative Strategists, Performance Creative Leads, Designers, Account teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate creative strategy into compelling, performance-driven assets
  • Developing creative concepts, establishing visual direction, presenting work to clients, incorporating feedback, and guiding concepts through final production
  • Creating pixel-perfect creative assets while ensuring consistency, quality, technical accuracy, and adherence to creative briefs, platform specifications, and brand guidelines
  • Designing, adapting, versioning, resizing, and optimizing creative across formats, placements, and channels while maintaining creative integrity
  • Supporting creative testing initiatives by producing iterative asset variations informed by performance insights and stakeholder feedback
  • Championing the visual identity of assigned clients by creating and maintaining brand guidelines, design systems, templates, and reusable resources that improve consistency and scalability
  • Providing creative feedback, quality assurance, and production guidance to internal teams and external partners while proactively identifying creative and production challenges, escalating issues with proposed solutions when needed
  • Improving creative workflows by developing best practices, documentation, and training resources, while identifying opportunities to expand your own skills and elevate team capabilities
  • Staying current on industry trends, platform innovations, and emerging AI tools to enhance creative production and performance
  • Leading larger-scale creative initiatives and full-funnel campaigns, delivering performance-focused creative that supports client growth and business objectives

You Must Have

  • 4–6 years of experience in digital, graphic, or motion design, with performance marketing experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in an agency, client-facing, or other fast-paced creative environment
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong digital design, motion graphics, and performance-driven creative across multiple channels (please include a link with your application)
  • Experience concepting, designing, and producing paid digital creative across platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Search, Amazon, and other digital channels
  • Ability to translate creative strategy and brand guidelines into high-performing digital assets
  • Strong visual design, typography, layout, and motion design skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong presentation design skills in Google Slides and/or PowerPoint
  • Excellent organization, project management, and ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing creative direction, feedback, and quality assurance to external partners
  • Ability to incorporate feedback, iterate quickly, and consistently deliver high-quality creative
  • Curiosity about emerging creative technologies and a willingness to learn and adopt AI-powered design tools

    Technical Skills
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Strong understanding of motion design principles, animation, and digital production workflows
  • Deep knowledge of paid social, digital advertising formats, platform specifications, and creative best practices
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems, brand guidelines, and reusable creative templates
  • Experience using AI-powered design tools to improve creative production and workflow efficiency

Nice to Have

  • Experience with 3D design and motion tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D
  • Familiarity with creative testing methodologies, A/B testing, and performance-driven creative optimization
