Position Summary

The Director, Account Management is a key role responsible for building and maintaining deep, strategic relationships with Minute Media’s most critical partners using the STN Online Video Player and additional monetization solutions, including SSP and Display products. This role plays a central part in reducing churn, improving retention, and driving growth by helping partners maximize revenue across direct and programmatic demand. The Director will lead a team focused on enabling partners to achieve their business objectives through Minute Media’s product suite, increasing customer lifetime value, and accelerating time-to-market for new features.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing account management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Define the vision, structure, and KPIs for the account management team: retention, upsell, yield, delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop account plans, QBRs, optimization and upsell roadmaps for key clients.
  • Ongoing monitoring of account performance with proactive client communication regarding optimization opportunities
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of upsell and renewal opportunities in Salesforce
  • Relay partner feedback and advocate for client requirements with Minute Media internal teams to inform product roadmap and publisher success strategy
  • Collaborate with SVP, Publisher Services to develop and refine account management processes to scale our partners more effectively

What You Have

  • 7+ years of experience in sales or account management within ad tech and/or online video, preferably at a publisher, SSP, DSP, or similar environment, with a proven track record of managing and growing high-touch customer accounts and driving revenue through retention and expansion.
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading customer success or account management teams.
  • Deep expertise in ad tech and digital advertising, including programmatic advertising, video monetization, publisher economics, and hands-on experience with GAM, SSPs, DSPs, identity solutions, and analytics platforms.
  • Advanced Salesforce CRM proficiency (3+ years), including managing account hierarchies, opportunity pipelines, and renewal forecasting.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that improve publisher performance.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to engage professionally and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly self-directed with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability, able to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, global organization.
  • Technically adept, able to independently troubleshoot issues and clearly communicate solutions to publishers.
  • Proficiency with standard business tools (Office, Google Suite, Looker, etc.).
  • Strong desire to continuously learn and adopt new technical and non-technical skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

The expected salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $120,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for performance-based compensation. The benefits available for this position include flexible vacation policy, 15 paid holidays, paid parental leave, health insurance, 401(k) with company match.
