  • In partnership with the Growth Team, lead analytical support for new partnerships, creating compelling, innovative analytic plans that showcase the Masterworks difference.

Team Leadership & Organizational Empowerment:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a dynamic analytics team, fostering their growth by encouraging intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning and client success.
  • Cultivate a collaborative, consultative culture where the team serves as a center of excellence, consistently generating fresh ideas and impactful solutions.
  • Equip employees across Masterworks with an understanding of donor data, measurement, strategy, and the power of exploring new analytical approaches.

Innovation, Product Development & Market Leadership:

  • Drive the innovation and development of a market-leading suite of interactive dashboards, reports, and analytical products, fueled by a proactive investigation of new technologies to better serve our clients.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, proactively researching and implementing innovative techniques to keep Masterworks—and our clients—at the forefront.
  • Work closely with the Chief Philanthropic Economist to champion new tests and methodologies, sharing insights through blogs, research, and industry events that advance the field of nonprofit fundraising.

Advanced Analytics & Insight Generation:

  • Oversee data collection, transformation, and analysis to evaluate campaign performance and unlock deep insights into donor behavior.
  • Guide the team in advanced analytics (data mining, predictive modeling, A/B testing), always exploring new and effective approaches to derive actionable insights and foster a "test and learn" culture that drives results.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
