Position Details:
As part of the IT team, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer. As the Director, Business Technology, you will be responsible for translating the needs of the organization’s business divisions into technology-enabled solutions that improve effectiveness, efficiency, and impact.
You will partner closely with departments and their leaders to deeply understand their mission, goals, and operational challenges, and identify opportunities to improve how they deliver on their mandates through technology, data, and process innovation. You will act as a strategic liaison between the business and the Technology organization, ensuring priorities are clear, aligned, and effectively delivered.
This is an exempt, full-time position requiring a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office, on a schedule determined by your supervisor located in our NYC headquarters office. The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.
You Will:
- Build deep partnerships with business units to understand their goals, workflows, and challenges, and how they deliver value to the organization.
- Identify and develop opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness through technology-enabled solutions, including process optimization, SaaS platforms, automation, AI, and data/analytics.
- Prioritize initiatives based on cost-to-value, speed-to-value, and strategic alignment across the organization.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Technology organization, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and accountability.
- Champion business priorities within IT to ensure appropriate focus, resourcing, and execution.
- Develop and maintain a cross-functional roadmap and portfolio of initiatives aligned to organizational objectives.
- Communicate the “why,” expected outcomes, and progress of initiatives to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery of solutions that drive measurable improvements in business performance and impact.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to align initiatives with enterprise architecture, data strategy, and integration standards.
- Guide the selection and implementation of technology solutions that enable business outcomes across core systems, analytics platforms, and emerging capabilities.
- Establish continuous feedback loops with business partners to evaluate impact and refine priorities over time.
- Foster a culture of partnership, accountability, and outcome-driven delivery across business and technology teams.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of leadership experience in technology, product, or business-facing IT roles.
- Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders to deliver technology-enabled solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
- Experience in strategic planning, program and project management, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, data and analytics, and system integration approaches.
- Knowledge of integration technologies such as APIs, HL7, FHIR, web services, JSON, XML, and business process automation tools.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with a focus on delivering business value.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional change and drive adoption of new solutions.

Pay Range
The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
