We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.

We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.

Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of B2B Employer Marketing to lead Rula’s Activation Marketing team from a content-production focus to an intelligence-gathering and multiplier engine. This dynamic leader will be responsible for driving patient starts from commercial referral channels by building scalable systems and repeatable playbooks. You will apply advanced data-driven strategies and deploy MarTech architecture to ensure the team is tracking towards every marketing event being tagged, measured, and automated for scale. In detail, this role will be responsible for:

  • Increasing marketing-attributable patient starts and build scalable systems with repeatable playbooks

  • Defining data-driven strategy for marketing touchpoints on from commercial referral audiences (Health Plans, Employers and Primary Care Providers) to maximize patient starts

  • Leading the plan to define attribution criteria and process for marketing-driven campaigns, in partnership with the commercial, product and analytics teams

  • Leading a team that establishes a testing and experimentation approach: A/B or multi-variant testing campaigns (both creative and the campaign component levels) to determine what works, and incrementality tests to understand impact vs holdouts

  • Identifying optimization through automation areas, reducing manual campaign execution, and content building using AI agents and tools

  • Driving the roadmap to templatize activation campaign approach, and open capacity for more innovative testing at scale

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related professional experience in Marketing, Growth, Product Marketing and/or Business Operations with a focus on user activations

  • Direct experience scaling teams by leveraging AI and ML-driven automation to solve high-stakes challenges in attribution and incrementality

  • Demonstrated cross-functional influence and high quality executive communications to align senior stakeholders across Commercial, Analytics, and Product teams

  • Proven expertise leading teams through both people managers and individual contributors, with a track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing marketing or growth talent

  • Hands-on proficiency managing a MarTech stack (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce, Redshift, Amplitude, etc.) and data pipelines specifically for marketing attribution

Preferred Qualifications

While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.

  • 3+ years experience at a high-growth start-up or in a tech-forward healthcare/pharma company

  • Deep healthcare ecosystem knowledge, with practical understanding of operational workflows of PCPs, Health Plans, and Employers, particularly within the behavioral health or telehealth space

  • AI-Driven Marketing Operations, with noted expertise implementing and managing AI agents or LLM-powered tools to automate content production and campaign workflows to directly reduce manual execution hours

  • “Player-coach” experience, possessing an ability to dive deep into operational details and provide technical coaching while simultaneously driving high-level organizational strategy

We're serious about your well-being! As part of our team, full-time employees receive:

  • 100% remote work environment: Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii)

  • Attractive pay and benefits: Full transparency of pay ranges regardless of where you live in the United States

  • Comprehensive health benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA

  • 401(k) plan access: Start saving for your future

  • Generous time-off policies: Including 2 company-wide shutdown weeks each year for self-care (for most employees)

  • Paid parental leave: Available for all parents, including birthing, non-birthing, adopting, and fostering

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Supporting your mental and physical health

  • Quarterly department stipend: Fun team-building activities or in-person gatherings

  • Community and employee resource groups: Participate in groups that celebrate employee identity and lived experiences, fostering a sense of community and belonging for all

  • Home office stipend: New hire home office stipend & $50 monthly stipend to help cover internet or cell phone expenses

  • Wellness at Rula program: Year-round wellness initiatives and a $50/month wellness stipend

Our team

We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to our mission of making mental healthcare work for everyone.  We are dedicated to having a culture of inclusion that will support our employees in feeling safe, seen, heard, and valued.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
